Queenie's ideal home

Queenie is ready to search for her forever home. She is looking for a adult only home, and no other pets but can have calm walking buddies. She can be a bit unsure of new people at first but does gain confidence over time. She can have walking buddies but needs her space and to be the only dog in the home. She has shown unwanted behaviours in her previous home; when approached by unknown people she has snapped and growled so she is looking for a home with not too many visitors. Understanding of the brachycephalic breed is desirable and how to manage in hot weather. Her new owners must be willing to come in and meet her multiple times here at the center before she can go home and our training team are on hand to help.

Queenie is a 4 year old FBD who has been returned to us due to not getting on with another dog in the home. She will need housetraining refresher. Can be left for short periods of tine this must be built up slowly to begin with until she is comfortable being left for longer hours. Travels well in the car. Loves a fuss once she gets to know you. Loves her food and treats which will work as a great tool to build a bond with her. Loves her walks and being out and about exploring and will make a great addition to her new family. Queenie is a lovely ball of fun once you have gained her trust, she loves a cuddle and really enjoys her walks.

Frenchie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a French Bulldog.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
