Description

Roxy's ideal home

Sweet and cuddly Roxy is looking for adopters who are active and with lots of love to give. She can live with children 14 years and over who can play nicely with her and give her space when she needs it. Roxy will need to be the only dog in the home, but will happily co-exist with cats and generally takes no notice of them. Roxy is happy to greet dogs out on walks when she sees them and would like some walking buddies to go on adventures with. Roxy likes training and is very eager to learn new skills for a tasty treat, she already knows "Sit", "Down" and "Paw". Roxy has been living in foster care whilst waiting for her forever home, so she is housetrained and will need a private garden to potter around and do her business in. Roxy is happy to be left for a few hours, but we would recommend building this up after she is settled into her new home. Roxy will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property from a private landlord, please have written permission ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted.

Could you be Roxy's perfect match?

Roxy is a super friendly 3 and a half year old French Bulldog! She loves to explore, but also likes a good snooze. This little lady loves toys and is a real cuddle bug, she enjoys lots of fusses. Roxy is a super clever girl who is eager to learn anything fun in exchange for a tasty snack.

Frenchie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a French Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
