Bruno
3 weeksDescription
Bruno's ideal home
Bruno is a loving, friendly and excitable boy who can’t wait to join a family of his own. A real snuggle-bug, Bruno loves spending time with his humans, often seeking attention and affection but can be a little ‘headshy’ and prefers chest rubs to head pats. Experienced with children, Bruno would be happy to live with older primary-school aged children who could be calm with him during down-time. When it comes to meeting other dogs, Bruno is a sociable boy and is keen to say hello to all whom he encounters! However, he is generally more comfortable with those who are of a similar size to him, and he could potentially live with a well-suited canine companion, pending gradual introductions at our rehoming centre. Bruno is unable to live with any cats or other small furry pets. Bruno is going to need some support with toilet training, so a garden of his own would be desirable to aid in his success! Due to his fondness for human affection, Bruno does tend to find it challenging when left alone and leaving him alone at home should only be built up very gradually once he is fully settled into his new environment. In the initial stages, he’ll likely enjoy following his new family around to seek comfort and reassurance.
Could you be Bruno's perfect match?
Bruno is an all-round sweetheart who enjoys all the best things about ‘dog-life’. Whether that be engaging in a game of fetch or tug with his people pals, gobbling up tasty snacks, or sniffing about on a walk in the countryside. He’s certainly a keen explorer, but his adopters will need to be mindful not to over-exercise him in warmer weather, due to his breed. Once Bruno has delight in a day full of activities, he enjoys settling down on a cosy bed with a chew, or next to his humans for a sofa snuggle.
